Mr. Muiris Kennedy is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in upper limb surgery, with a particular focus on conditions of the shoulder, hand and wrist. He has been in full-time consultant practice in Ireland since 2015, following an extensive training and fellowship career spanning Ireland and the United Kingdom.
He completed the Irish Higher Surgical Training scheme in orthopaedic surgery in 2013 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCSI). He holds a Masters in Surgery and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in the field of upper limb pathology.
Mr. Kennedy is a clinical supervisor for higher surgical trainees in orthopaedics and trauma surgery for the RCSI, reflecting his commitment to education and advancing the specialty.
